One if the best experiences! Rich design, a lot of glass and everything is clean! (And this is a hard job to do). A bottle of water in the glass — one love. The bed was very comfortable. Nice staff, great reastaurant with special dishes from chef.

10 minute to the central station (busses and trains). Great if you're planning to stay in Krakow and do a day visit to Auschwitz. 10 minute walk into the old town. Big mall directly across the road. The staff were exceptional. Extremely friendly and helpful. Because we left early in the morning to Auschwitz, they arranged a packed breakfast, which was really convenient and more than enough! They also kept our luggage for the entire day at no charge.

We were there for three nights and managed to pack a lot in.

We were there for three nights and managed to pack a lot in. Day one:- flight landed midday, train to Krakow Glowny, checked into our apartment near the main square then taxi to Wieliczka salt mines in the afternoon. Worth a visit but beware if you are not fully mobile as there is a lot of steps down (800) & walking. Day two:- walked to Wawel Castle (did not do all of it) Afterwards walked to & wandered round parts of Kazimierz (the Jewish Quarter). Day three:- Train to Oswiecim & bus to Auschwitz-Birkenau, then back to Krakow. We tried some Polish food which was all good & local beer really nice. Don’t expect everywhere to be inexpensive neither as it’s not, you have to look for cheap restaurants, cafes, bars etc. (in amongst hundreds). It was very full on for us but we are not as young as we used to be, I would say to do Krakow at a fairly leisurely pace you would need at least five days but obviously it depends on what you want to do and see. A very lovely city!

My stay was too short to give s judgement. BUT generally these uneducated hordes of mass tourists are an annoyance to me. When you travel you must have a reason , a theme. A cheap flight ticket or"i haven't been there yet" is not a reason...

The city of Krakow is absolutely amazing with loads of things to see and to do in the city center area. From the classic museum visits to the daily concerts performed by the The Cracow Chamber Orchestra at the St. Peter & Paul's Church. A couple of must visit items: The Underground Museum and St. Mary Cathedral and Tower. The food is also very good with some excellent restaurnt options, The Black Duck, Pod Aniolami and Morsie Oko. Beautiful city with old world charm. Friendly people.

Beautiful city with old world charm. Friendly people. Lots of restaurants offering quality food and reasonable prices. And plenty of sites outside of town to visit. Salt Mine was spectacular. Our Auschwitz trip turned into a nightmare as we hadn't booked in advance (recommend at least one month prior) so we were forced to get last minute tickets. The company (Gr8Way) gave us a confirmed tour time (10AM) and pickup (8:15AM) and at the last minute changed the pickup to a very early one (6AM for a 10AM tour)! We called to cancel but they said they already purchased the tickets but found out they most likely had none. After discussing with a local taxi driver, he said they make you go early so they can purchase tickets at 7AM or so when Auschwitz opens and offers a few day tickets. Beware as we are trying to recover the money charged by the company.

Beautiful place with a very rich history.

Beautiful place with a very rich history. The old town is beautifully restored. The park that surrounds the old town ( formerly the moath outside the city walls) is a wonderful place to bring a lunch, you book etc and just sit on one of the many benches and watch people. I highly recommend taking a walk around the old jewish district of Kazimires and the location of the Jewish WW2 ghetto for some perspective to your trip. I took a guided city walk with the Krakow Explores for 2,5 hours around those neighborhoods with the excellent guide, historian and archeologist Bart, which proved very insightful. Theres is a lot of good food in Krakow and Poland, and don’t miss out one of the many "milk bars" where they serve traditional Pierogis, potato pancakes etc.

This is the perfect hotel if you are attending an event at the ICE Krakow Congress Center. It is located just on the opposite side of the street. Buses and trams can take you to the city centre, and although you might get a room facing a busy street, those windows are very good for reducing the noise. You can barely hear anything from outside. Also, the Vistula River, with a gorgeous Wawel Castle view, is within a 5-minute walk. 24/7 Carrefour Express convenient store located less than 100m away.

This was by far one of the best places we've stayed. It's proximity to the centre of Old Town Kraków is perfect and allowed us to reach the main square within 4mins walk. There's a tram stop within 100m that will take you anywhere else you like in the city. Our host Anna went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. We really really enjoyed our time in the city and this apartment added to the experience. It has everything you may need.
