The town is well worth a visit.
The town is well worth a visit. It was a shame we didn't have more time fo the thermal baths - they're not open on a Sunday. Buçaco forest is magical, make lots of time to go there and spend at least a full day. If you can stay in the Palace, it is well worth it.Guest review byPatrickUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The Bussaco Castle was beyond our expectations, the hotel...
The Bussaco Castle was beyond our expectations, the hotel staff were amazing, a representative showed us the lobby area and the amenities prior to our room arrival after our check in. We had a fantastic room (The Queen room). There are several activities to do such the visit to the convent/museum, the shop, and long walking trails in the forest, this was an incredible stay for us to celebrate a very special event, we had dinner at the hotel and the dinner was superb, the bartender knows how to make great mix drinks, the entire staff in the hotel were welcoming, friendly and courteous. Located in the heart of the Serra do Bussaco, Palace Hotel do Bussaco is an excellent example of Manueline-Gothic architecture.
