Amazing location, clean and very comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The studio had everything we needed and we appreciated the bottle of water the hosts left for us when we arrived late, plus the welcome pastel de nata. Everything was good. Having a walking tour and a tour of the Covento with Monica from GuruWalk is highly recommended. She was brilliant and really enhanced our stay by showing us small things we would never have noticed. Tomar is a very pretty Portuguese town. Nearby are the monastaries of Alcobaca and Batalha both world heritage sites and easy to visit. Tomar was a great base for our visit.

Stayed one night to visit the Convent of Christ and Knights of Templar castle. It was a quaint and lovely town and a nice contrast after coming from Lisbon and a nice overnight stay on our way to Porto. The Convent and Castle were definitely worth seeing.

Room, location, cleanliness, breakfast and staff courtesy where excellent. Only drawback was the Wi-Fi connection. The only network with sufficiently strong signal was the one shared with the TV, which required a new setup (new password) to connect to the Wi-Fi every time the TV was turned off (like when we left the room).

A small city with an impressive history.

A small city with an impressive history. The Templars castle, church, convent above all. A great number of historical buildings well restored, some with new functions like gallery. Very special Santa Maria do Olival on the other river side and hidden in a small street the synagogue.

We chose Tomar because we had stayed in your hotel some seven years previously. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, Tomar and the surrounding area that time. Given that my son and his wife were travelling from the Algarve it made sense to meet up at a near central point. The historical aspect of Tomar was outstanding in particular and was greatly enjoyed by the four of us.

The villa was amazing!! It felt like home, and the views were the best yet, throughout our three week visit to Portugal! The hosts answered our needs via text, within a few minutes! There was a wonderful varieto of local bread, cheese, milk, juice, and a nice bottle of wine to welcome us! I would absolutely return to this villa when we visit Portugal once again. The balconies, beautifully unique and fun decorations, and kitchen were impecable! The beds were so comfy, we didn't want to leave. Thank you!!

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is about 5 minutes walk from the railway station, although l know that parking space can be arranged. A short walk takes you into the historic town of Tomar and, up a steep incline, to the amazing Castle grounds and Convent de Christo. The hotel owner is a fountain of knowledge regarding the history of Tomar. The room was compact and cosy, no frills but everything required was to hand. The room was spotlessly clean.
