We liked the bed (a king size bed made of 2 twin beds): very good mattresses, very nice sheets. The location is excellent: in a quiet part of Vila Nova de Gaia, a 10-15 minute walk to the metro, Jardim do Morro, the river front, the wine cellars and supermarkets. Bring your best running shoes and train your calves before coming! The apt. M, the one with the balcony on the front and the church-like window, is on the top floor, accessible by elevator. It’s a good size for a couple. The kitchen has everything to cook a simple meal. There is a secure luggage storage in the lobby, very convenient. The views across the river Dourro to Porto are wonderful, especially at night. A good choice of river cruises are easily accessible and the Port houses are a great attraction. Plenty of good, reasonably priced restaurants and Porto is 5 minutes away across the foot bridge.
