The place is underrated, has so much potential. While I traveled many times through it, I never stopped for more that a few minutes. But I discovered Rm. It's a fine place to stay on your way to somewhere else or just as a quick and accessible get away. Not a pretty city, but there are things to do in and around the city. We would recommend eating at Simfonia and going to the Lotrisor Falls.Guest review byAndreiRomania - 10
A large chunk of the town is just in the famous communist...
A large chunk of the town is just in the famous communist fashion - boring blocks of flats, lots of concrete. Instead there is a part with nice houses and lots of green. There's also a nice park and a huge wandering area in the nature. I recommend the town just for that. Lots of nice places to visit are within one hour driving - both nature and man-made: mountains to climb, gorges, caves, monasteries and churches, folk art.Guest review byMihaiRomania - 10
I didn't visit the city. I only slept in Rm. Valcea.
