The Sonnenhöf hotel in Suceava is truly a refreshment for the mind. The environment is refined and all the staff are very courteous and welcoming. What struck me most is that both the staff, but also the guests, use a gentle tone of voice and there is an air of tranquility, especially after a busy day of work but also of leisure. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and very clean. What is most surprising is the breakfast: the enormous variety of the culinary offer exceeds all imagination and satisfies any palate. Overall it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Loved the place. Small , cozy single room. Quiet, comfortable, all very good. All clean. Internet worked well. Could check-in at midnight, had a flight arriving very late. Was easy to communicate with hotel. Very friendly reception staff. Quiet area, Lidl supermarket nearby, 15 minutes walk to city, 35 minutes walk to central bus station I tried the a la carte breakfast (not included in rate). It was good, good service Good value for money.

I came one hour earlier (9 a.m.) and it was not a problem for the hotel to change my arrival time. Man who answered me by phone talked English (French and Italian) - I was surprised of his education and kindness. I spent very good time at the hotel from the beginning till the end.     the city is very nice and has lots of facilities . it helps to know romanian since very few speak and understand a different language, people are very nice and in most cases would do what they can to help you. I had also a feeling that there was very little crime in that city and i didnt confront any petty events. it has a good public transportation and it is easy to get around . i eat in different places fast food and restaurants it all was fine and as expected

    We hardly had time for the city, as we were busy visiting the monasteries around it, which we highly recommend: Putna, Dragomirna, Gura Humorului, Voroneț, Sucevița, Moldovița, Agapia, Văratec. We managed to find some time for the city fortress, which we also recommend.

    This city is much more interesting than the thousands of transit passengers who pass it by on their travels might think. Suceava is cool, inexpensive, with a bunch of hidden gems and sights in different parts of the city.

    Suceava is an attractive town with good amenities and a pleasant atmosphere. With its wide boulevard, central square and pavement cafes it's perfect for an evening stroll. The beautiful monastery, fortress and traditional village museum are definitely worth a visit. Suceava is the perfect starting point for visiting the stunning painted monasteries, several of which are just outside the town.

    The important point about Suceava is as a centre for visiting the many attractions of the Bucovina, the surrounding area - in particular the painted monasteries; walking in the hills, woods and valleys; the handicrafts, the layout and architecture of the village houses; and the food of the region. But do not forget the Bucovina Village Museum and the Castle (Cetatea de Scaun) on the outskirts of Suceava itself.

    The hotel is situated in the heart of Suceava. We stayed here because we had to use Suceava airport. For sure this hotel it's suitable for short stayings, the breakfast was good. The room was clean and also the toilet, and I can say that the staff member was very warm with us. If I will come again in this city, I will be happy to stay here.
