The bathroom was very nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. The room was oriented to the yard, thus very quiet. But even if the room is faced to the street, the traffic is low and rooms are quiet. The internet was working without any problems. The staff in the hotel is extremely friendly and prone to help. The breakfast was outstanding - for me one of the best ones I have ever had in a hotel! In the offer there is cold and warm buffet, wonderful selection of muesli and corn flakes with various nuts, amazing! Cheeses and fresh vegetables were outstanding quality :-) Both filter and espresso coffee, loose leave tee. At the end fabulous selection of cakes, therefore when planning to stay in Ruth hotel, don't forget to book the breakfast!

Staff, food (breakfast, Fika and dinner), rooms all amazing. Everything worked perfectly in the room, functional and efficient. Bed very comfy Restaurant ambience is lovely, even when busy it feels laid back, all the food is first rate. Wonderful bread, soups, mains and salads all included in the room rate which was fantastic value! We bought house wine and beer/G & T at the bar, quite expensive but no more than anywhere else in Stockholm. Nearby very nice walk around lake, even had an early swim. City accessible by tram/train but we mostly used taxi to stop 1 on hop on hop off bus/boat - loved that!! To be fair we had wall to wall sunshine for our 3 night stay , beautiful blue skies!

Cannot thank you enough for the pleasures you provided for our 5-night stay. You should be very proud of your staff and facilities. Yes, it is expensive to stay with you, but we could not have asked for a more perfect visit. At the end of every busy day, it felt like we were coming home to Mamma's delicious nutritious dinner. We will be back!

Beautiful cozy clean bright room, the hotel is very well situated, right in the city center, 8 mins walk from metro and 15 mins from Cental Station. There’s a great brunch spot Gast around the corner, was waking up late and skipped the hotel breakfasts :) The receptionists are very welcoming. I liked everything about this hotel

I was captivated from the very beginning. The staff was always very kind and attentive. The decor is exquisite, and the vibe is very cool, with plenty of light entering the restaurant area. The room was quite cozy, beautifully designed, and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower. Additionally, it is located in an area with beautiful buildings, just steps away from Kungsträdgården Garden and Gamla Stan.

The Gamla Stan ("Old Town") area was my favorite area. Great for walking with lots of great narrow, cobbled streets and old, interesting architecture. Loads of fun shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the Vasa Museum, Skansen, and the National Art Gallery. Touring the fabulous City Hall is a great experience.

Stockholm was wonderfull Ticked all the boxes, historic, great food, good coffee, pretty easy to get around. Public transport was fast and on time (but beware of construction causing some bus stops to be shifted like Slussen). Do a walking tour when you arrive, good to set the scene. Skansen was awesome - loads to see especially all the animals (bears, wolverines, Lynx, owls and farm yard animals. The Vasa Museum is a must (a 400 year old ship recovered from the bottom of the harbour and on full display and it is huge). just explore the different parts of the city on foot. it's a beautiful place. 3 days (4 mights) minimum. add an extra day to see Uppsala (the old capital) about 90 mins north of Stockholm.

Stockholm is a lovely city- very clean, offering lots of amenities, an excellent transportation system which we utilized almost exclusively, and lots of interesting attractions. Something for everyone as the saying goes. We were here at the end of "the season", just before fall, but except for a bit of rain it was comfortable and lovely. Earlier in September by a week or so might have been good, but the crowds were certainly less at this time. Lots to discover here- from great museums to boat rides out on the harbor, very nice shops, and excellent food everywhere.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the wonderful receptionists, and the surprise welcome drink and letter for my parents left me speechless. They were overjoyed and in tears . I, their daughter , planned this Scandinavian trip for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Stockholm was our final stop and Ruth hotel was by far the best hotel we stayed in past 2 weeks! I myself travel a lot for work and have stayed many hotels but the quality of the breakfast is amazing too. 10 points out of 10 is not enough.

-The location is really good - the street is calm and the hotel is situated within a comfortable walking distance from both Central Station and the city centre (also good bus/tram connection to all the museums). -The breakfast was amazing!!! Really good choice of food. Worth booking just to experience it. - The room was clean and in a good condition. - unproblematic and very quick check-in and check-out. - The positives outweight the negatives. - I would recommend this hotel to someone travelling to Stockholm.

Probably one of my best traveling experience ever. It was the first time i entered in a vessel. It was amazing! Everyone should do this. Sleeping in a (very big!!!) boat was the best choice. It is a luxury hotel with the best view of your life. Live music and concerts, very good restaurants, great staff. A 4 bed cabine is a very cheap solution to all this experience. The landscape of the archipelago along stockholm is breathtaking. Everything was perfect.

Perfect location in very picturesque neighbourhood next to the city centre and most part of attractions by Stockholm. Comfortable transport connection to the city centre by bus, tram or ferry. We lived in a cozy room, which was warm and quite and super clean. Best food in the city definitely is in a restaurant in the hotel. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner, both was really great. The location is excellent for exploring Stockholm—perfect for visiting museums, strolling around Södermalm and Gamla Stan, or enjoying some shopping. It’s also very close to both the Metro and the Arlanda Express.
