Our host was lovely. They live on the property and greet you upon arrival. They stored our bikes in the garage and shared their homemade limoncello with us! Most na soci is a very small place, inexpensive - we had drinks at the local bar on the terrace - 5 glasses of wine + a beer for 7.50 euros. And everyone was so friendly!

It was available to check in even later in the evening or night, but remember to contact the owners first! Very nice People, delicious croissants, beautiful surroundings, perfect sleep and rest! Comfy, cozy, perfect for both a longer trip, as there are a beatiful lake and river Soca across the road or for just a one night rest. There's no parking lot, but there is a gas station next to it and some free spots available to park, however not for more than 2hrs during the day between 6am and 22pm. We kept our car on this spot for an entire night and morning and there was no problem with this, but we were here off season. If necessary you can park just about 500m away, next to the river, there's a big parking lot (however you need to pay there).

We hadn’t planned on staying here: it was a last minute booking so we could escape a campsite 45 minutes away, in the heaviest rain with worries about potential flooding. Everything is great about the hotel: extremely friendly, helpful and well-organised owner. Spotlessly clean through the hotel, comfortable rooms, nice cotton bedsheets, complimentary toiletries etc, TV with great channels for English-speakers! We ate dinner here and loved the dumplings, trout, grilled veg and amazing pancakes and walnut ice cream. Breakfast was also fabulous with perfectly cooked omelettes and scrambled eggs! It’s a friendly, family-run place and was a wonderful safe haven for us away from camping in the rain! The owner even took the time to tell us which roads were safe to drive on, after the floods, for our onward journey.

We stayed in a room with a double bed and a private bathroom. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There is a shared kitchen and living room downstairs, and a beautiful outdoor seating area with chairs, tables, a grill, and lovely views of the surrounding nature. Roger and Louise were very nice, and we felt very welcome. They stay on the upper floor. Although we did not order breakfast, we saw them preparing it for other guests, and it looked absolutely delicious. It might be worth getting it next time. ;)

    This is a family run hotel in a very convenient location for the railway station (and bus to Tolmin). The host is amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate us and answer all our questions. We very much enjoyed the homecooked food at dinner and breakfast. The nut studli with walnut ice cream was the best!

    Comfortable little house, spacious enough for four, clean and tidy! Being able to use the garden is a plus, and the kindness and helpfulness of the host is priceless. The location is convenient for both Tolmin (by car or bike) and Most na Soci, with a pleasant walk along the river. Highly recommended!

    The location was amazing. The breakfast was great and the staff were super helpful for us. I can’t fault the staff at all - very happy there. We didn’t get to try the restaurant for dinner, but it looked fab! The overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good.
