I was in a room no. 2, the view from the balcony was stunning, Portoroz lights, sea, just perfect. By Strma pot you'll reach center in less than 5 minutes, return takes a little longer. Staff was very kind, you'll receive all the necessary informations from them. Large bathroom, very clean, comfy bed, big TV, climatized, Wi-Fi was perfect with great signal.

We got a very nice family room with a good view on the first floor, very close to the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were very good every day, there was a wide variety of tasty food to choose from and very friendly staff. Hotel Apollo is close to the beach but in a quiet location without noise. We used the swimming pools of the LifeClass Hotels and the beach. I would highly recommend Hotel Apollo for couples as well as families. There's an indoor playground near the reception.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were impressed by the palm trees and manicured bushes. The lovely lady accommodated us in a premium room at the reception. The repce hall was minimalisticly equipped and yet tasteful. Upon entering our room, you will be surprised by the pleasant scent of lavender. Premium rooms are in Scandinavian style - spacious living room with TV, spacious bedroom with TV, large bathroom and 2 large terraces. Everything beautifully clean and tidy. Regular replacement of towels and trash bags. What I would definitely praise the hotel for were breakfast and dinner in the form of a "buffet" - fish, beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables, several types of pasta, local cuisine. We were really taken care of fabulously and at an unbeatable price!

Slovenia’s Adriatic Spa Resort

Portorož is the most popular beach resort on Slovenia’s small but undulating coastline. It was first developed as a health resort and several spas remain. The largest is the Terme & Wellness LifeClass Portorož, offering treatments using local products such as salt pan mud, seawater and thermal mineral water.

The huge complex is surrounded by some of the 4 and 5-star hotels available on Booking.com. Nearby is the Hotel Kempinski Palace, a historic property built in 1910 as a retreat for Austro-Hungarian officials. Other Portorož accommodation options include guest houses with pools and beachfront apartments.

The beaches are of course why most people come. The main, sandy beach is awash with colourful parasols in summer, while offshore watersports include diving and water skiing. Boat trips from the marina sail along the coast and even to Venice and Trieste in Italy.

As the temperature cools down, the nightlife heats up as people start hitting the bars and clubs. Several casinos also provide another way to spend some time…and money, and there are also relaxed restaurants where you can enjoy the sunset.

Portorož Airport is just south of the city and in the opposite direction is Piran whose Venetian old town spread over a promontory provides a more cultural offering.

    A pleasant place mainly thanks to the people and services in the area. It is more about getting to know and meeting people. There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Entering the sea without shoes in the water is quite unpleasant.

    All was great and nearby. The prices are regular, even on beach restaurants by the sea was not so bad if we compare it to for instatnce Croatia. In supermarkets you buy all you need. First time in Portoroz, but definitely not the last.

    Portorož is a great destination for a mid-winter holiday. There are plenty of interesting walks, like along the beach promenade, and excellent restaurants close to the hotel we stayed at (the Boutique Hotel). Every place we went to was very pet-friendly.

    Easily accessible, comfort, enough shopping facilities, bars, restaurants of every kind, stroll space, panoramic views, marina very close, nature, ... Really a cute place to stay for a week. I recommend every traveller to visit it at least once in your life.

    Apartment is located in Slovenian Istria part just above the Portorose city center with sea view to bay of Portorose, perfect for the rest during the night. Accommodation is spacious and bads are very comfortable. This point is close and easy to navigate for those who wants to see more, like Italy cities Trieste, Venice, or Croatia Istrian coast. The host was very nice and helpful with all questions we had. Our stay in this beautiful place was absolutely amazing and worth to come back again.

    Nemanja's apartment in Portoroz is really great. It is very spacious and beautifully furnished. After our trips to Peran and the sea, it was like coming home when we got back to the apartment. Even though it was only a short stopover, we really enjoyed our time and would love to come back. Nemanja is a very nice and great host who always answered questions quickly and helped us a lot.     The room was comfortable with a large balcony. We had half board which was provided in the adjacent Hotel Histrion; the food was plentiful and good. We also could use the indoor swimming pool there which was pleasant. Most of all the hotel is in a excellent location right on the sea front and between Portoroz and Piran.
