I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.Guest review byMarkAustralia - 10.0

I don't drive, so I walked around a lot this area. I really enjoyed Wat Khao Tham and Apichada view point where I can visit by walk. There are lots of tasty local food with reasonable price. Especially I liked MAMA local restaurant. Also, I liked carrot cake from Croissant & Ko. They have lots of cakes and pastry it was difficult to chose!!! It has its only little section of beach that very private with an amazing pool. The food serviced at the hotel was amazing and it was fairly priced. The free breakfast was good but nothing amazing, the coffees were good and they staff were very friendly. The room was amazing very clean, modern comfortable and spacious. Separate villas staggered through the gardens give that added feeling of privacy, and near to all the essentials (a great little night food market about 10 minute walk away).
