This Resort was amazing, we had the beachfront 2 bedroom bungalow. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was excellent. The property was well maintained and close to other restaurants. We went in the low season and it was perfect nice and quiet with the beach to ourselves. Loved our 8 night stay here. The bungalow was clean, had a private toilet and shower. The shower is cold but that was no problem for me. Lek and his staff are most kind. I was coming from Surat Thani and lek arranged a seat for me on a local van costing only 300bat. The garden and pont with lilies is stunning. You can hear the people around you but there is an understanding of being quiet. The best was a little hard to my taste but I’ve slept on beds in Thailand that were a lot firmer. The location is close to a beach and with a scooter you can get around easily to other beaches. As a solo traveler it was a little challenging to connect to others, cuz there are a lot of couples on the island. I would come back here.

PP Land is a wonderful, secluded resort on the east side of the island. The sunrises are incredible and the beach right in front of our bungalow was clean and a beautiful place to swim. The staff were incredibly helpful with whatever you needed, including laundry, bike rental and the food requirements in the restaurant. Paul and pearl also own a cafe called Magic cafe where you can get freshly baked croissants and cake. The resident dogs are lovely too! Thanks again for the fantastic stay over our 1 year wedding anniversary! We absolutely loved it!

Great hosts, great nature surroundings, great atmosphere, one feel like at home. A great experience. I can highly recommend the big house for those in search of peace, nature, simplicity. Thailand as it once was. Basic though, but it has to be so to perfectly fit in the surroundings.

Fabulous stay - the executive suite room was well worth the extra - the view was stunning whilst sitting in bed. Resteraunt served great food, Amy was very helpful and organised onward travel back to phuket (Ferry tickets and Taxi pickup from Ranong Pier). The Resort has a Tuk-Tuk to bring you and your backpacks/suitcases from the ferry terminal and back again at the end of the stay. Ask as soon as you are getting off the ferry - don't walk to the end of the pier as the tuk-tuk is usually waiting ON the pier for boats - just call ahead to Amy and be sure she knows you are arriving on the ferry and it will be there for you. The location is great - about five minutes from the Hippie Bar - which is probably the greatest bar on Earth - literally a warren of driftwood held together with (hemp) ropes (no plastic here). Anyway - Koh Phayam is like Thailand was twenty five years ago - a million miles away from party-town Phuket and lots of lovely uncrowded beaches. Marina Resort is one of the nicest frendliest places - book a stay - you won't be disappointed! :-)

This place is exceptional. Huts are in a nice park with beautiful flowers and trees. There are various birds and butterfly's. Food in restaurant is very good and healthy with lots of options for vegetarian. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
