AustraliaThis is probably the most traditional establishment we stayed in while in Thailand, and the least like a Western Hotel. Having said that, it was a thoroughly delightful experience. The beds are mattresses on the floor, so bear that in mind, but it was clean, new, comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely superb! I also only chose this location because it was roughly halfway between Pai and Chaing Rai, but was pleasantly surprised by the food that was available in the nearby main street, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the chedi on the hill overlooking the town, which was lovely.
