Subject: Urgent Complaint – Failed 24/7 Check-In, Inaccessible Room, and Unacceptable Conditions Dear Hidden Khaosan management, I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment following our stay — or rather, our failed attempt to stay — at your property on the night of 22nd. You advertise 24/7 check-in as a core amenity, and we booked with that assurance. However, upon arriving at around 4:00 AM, exhausted and in extreme heat, we discovered that your self check-in machine was completely non-functional. We tried every possible method to check in, repeatedly and with care, yet nothing worked. There was no staff on-site to help, no emergency contact that responded, and absolutely no backup system in place. Left with no alternative and utterly stranded in the middle of the night, we were forced to use two previously occupied rooms after finding old keys — a completely unacceptable and unsanitary situation that no guest should ever be subjected to. This experience was degrading, stressful, and well below any acceptable hospitality standards. We demand a full refund, as we did not receive the service we paid for. Additionally, we expect a written apology from your management acknowledging the seriousness of this failure. You have severely breached the trust that guests place in your establishment. If we do not receive a prompt and satisfactory response, we will not hesitate to escalate this matter through reviews, consumer protection channels, and booking platform complaints. I stayed at The Hidden Khaosan for 2 nights and was very satisfied with my stay. The hostel is very clean and well-maintained. It’s located in a quiet area, yet just a short walk from Khaosan Road.
