Beautiful clean spacious room, very close to all amenities, including the airport and the beach, with helpful staff. There was aircon and a fan, nice heavy curtains to shut out street light and double windows to keep noise to a minimum. I will return when I next do an airport run, loved it, and slept well!

A perfect little hotel in a great location on the beach with lovely, friendly helpful staff. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Had a good night's sleep, not too noisy even though it's not far from the hustle of Chewang.. Would 100% recommend and will be back!

The hotel was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Very friendly staff, spoke well English, good attitude and very professional. Never annoyed if I asked them anything. The room is very clean and comfy, nice shower and good bed. Swimming pool very beautiful and clean. Good food in the restaurant. Brekfast was great too, omelette was very tasty. I had an early check out, so they made me a breakfast box to take with me, which was incredibly kind (you need to request it at the reception one day in advance). Location very central.

Amazing rooms and facilities. We liked it so much we went back twice in the same trip. Staff are very helpful and the pool is fabulous. The rooms are very modern and the beds are the comfiest of the entire trip too.

    Stayed on the beach and didn't venture in to the town of...

    Stayed on the beach and didn't venture in to the town of Chaweng, or the high street, didn't need to. A mix of resorts and hotels on the beach, from 5* to 3*, all offering great locations, food and friendly service. Some were child friendly, and very shallow waters safe for kids or non swimmers. Some hotels were adults only. It's been 10 years since I last visited and it's better than I remembered.

    Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)

    I think I would prefer to go a bit further to Lamai beach.

    I think I would prefer to go a bit further to Lamai beach. 10km away. The private taxi from the airport cost 400baht to go the 2 km. Walk past the desk and locate a normal taxi. I found that the normal price for a taxi is 500baht for 10km or 600baht for 15km.

    Chaweng has something for everyone. we were 2 50+ adults...

    Chaweng has something for everyone. we were 2 50+ adults with our 28 year old son and girlfriend. They enjoyed the nightlife on the strip with some friends and we enjoyed some lovely lunches and and beach days in a nice resort whilst they recovered from the nights excesses. You can arrange excursions to other islands easily. I would caution against staying up the big hills as it puts the taxi drivers off.

    If your expectations are cottage chic, you’re going to be...

    If your expectations are cottage chic, you’re going to be happy. If it’s hotel with amenities, your reaction will be a bit surprised. I wish they provided more than just a bar of soap and one towel each. No bathmat, no hand towels, no shampoo. Air conditioning was excellent. The rooms were clean but the bathroom window didn’t close so there were spiders, but we were in a jungly atmosphere so I didn’t mind. The restaurant prices were high so we didn’t eat there. Tons of restaurants, 7-Elevens and the Chaweng night market nearby.

    Very convenient to be central with everything near by. Highly recommend Chaweng beach location. Great location to watch planes arriving and departing over the beach at low altitude. Great photo opportunity for those interested.

    A fantastic hotel complex in a super location right on the beach as well as being in the town centre. The Staff in this hotel were superb, from the restaurant staff at breakfast to the beach bar staff throughout the day and evening. Our room was serviced extensively each day and the hotel grounds were constantly maintained throughout our stay. Reception were also fantastic in giving us information on excursions and taxis, If ever in Koh Samui again I would genuinely be booking this hotel. Loved it

    From arrival to leaving the trip, hotel and staff were super kind and courteous. The hotel is a peaceful haven nestled in the main Chaweng beach road. Perfect as you can have the peace when in the resort but as soon as you step out your in the heart of all the bars and restaurants Chaweng offers. The staff are the most important part and go out of their way to help, especially being we had a four month old. Room was superb and we will be going back again. Special mention to Yao, Jeat & May

    First Bungalow Beach Resort ⛱️ offered a quiet stay very close to all the action on Koh Samuis best beach. We had a private stand alone waterfront( 2nd row but with waterview) cabin right near the beach bar and restaurant . The beautiful gardens were well tended and more are being planted. The view from the restaurant at breakfast each morning overlooking Nth Chaweng Beach the rocks and colourful fishing boats was superb. We can highly recommend its position and value for money
