The Krabi River Hotel is a great location, right on the river walk, whether you’re staying in Krabi for a few days like us or just passing through. I used it before catching a flight out of Krabi Airport. It’s very new and really clean. We had a connecting room, The rooms are very spacious with very comfortable beds. It doesn’t offer food, but has drinks and snacks available at reception. There is a lovely local restaurant right across the road which does great food; mainly Thai but with some western options too. Also close to the river for tours and trips. This was a very large spacious room which was very clean and quite modern, it had all basic essentials like good air con, a large comfy bed, water, fridge, good hot shower. There is a small restaurant offering cheap food in the hotel as well. There is a convenient local bus to Ao Nang on the next road for 50 baht. I wouldn't recommend if you have any problems walking because there's no lift. If you're looking for nightlife, this isn't the place for you. Ao Nang would be the place for that which is about 20 mins by car away.
