A Hidden Gem of Hospitality – Baan Hotelier Resort Sometimes you find yourself in a place where you are not just a guest, but part of the family. Baan Hotelier Resort is such a rare place. Small-scale, full of character, and lovingly created — it feels like a home away from home. We stayed for three nights, just enough to truly experience life between the countryside of Prat and the nearby coastline. Surrounded by greenery and birdsong, you get a genuine taste of rural Thailand, far from the busy tourist routes. From the first moment, you are welcomed not by a reception desk, but by the warm smiles of host Ay and his wife — the heart and soul of the resort. They are not businesslike hoteliers, but caring hosts who make you feel instantly at ease. What made it extra special: Ay was always available via WhatsApp, gently guiding us to local markets, temples, and hidden spots we would have otherwise missed. Every corner of the resort tells a story. The rooms are charming and personal, filled with unique details — no sterile hotel style here. The garden is lush and a little wild, not overly manicured, giving it an organic and homely feel. It may come across as a bit rustic to some, but that’s exactly what makes it authentic and peaceful. Baan Hotelier Resort is not just a hotel — it’s an experience. A place you leave reluctantly, knowing you will return. Some places — and some people — simply stay with you. A true hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, porch with table and chairs, private bathroom. Tea, coffee and toast facilities. Food also available at a very reasonable price. Scooter hire 200 baht per day. The host were super friendly and also gave us a lift to ko chang pier for 500 baht (30 minute drive) I would highly recommend.

Koh chang fuengfah is a great place to stay! The swimming pool is big and very clean. The restaurant has a varied menu with all kinds of delicious dishes. We've tried many of them and were never disappointed. The rooms are very comfortable. We especially loved the cosy patio, which is perfect to catch some morning sun while waking up. Our favourite part of our stay was the lovely owner though, who went out of her way to help us with everything we asked for and more!

Hosts were friendly and lovely,and went out of there way to help, apartments are beautiful clean and modern, the gardens and swimming pool excellent, it is one of the nicest apartments i have stayed in. The veiw was so lovely looking out over the sea I would book again.

The property was luscious, rich, artistic and homely. There was a lot of space to sit outside and a high attention to detail to the architecture and use of space. The owners were so kind and helpful. They were wonderful hosts that made our stay stress free and effortless. But be aware it is a small place. It is a private and domestic place. It is not a hotel, but rather a home in a home which we loved!
