Amasra, home of a 12th Century UNESCO Site is filled with nice people who understand that tourism is important. Gourmand (I loved the seafood and sunset at Mustafa Amca'nın Yeri - Canlı Balık Restaurant) and quick-eats restaurants, pristine park, two sandy beaches (one for the morning and one for late afternoon). A myriad of interesting shops, Friday Bazaar. It was easy to find several stores with fresh fruit and vegetables. September is warm and the crowds are gone. Nice town and it had a pleasant feel about it.
Nice town and it had a pleasant feel about it. Nice restaurants and plenty of choice. Quaint shops and interesting places to walk around. Beach could do with some cleaning of rubbish but otherwise I would definitely visit Amasra again. We had kahvalti at one lokanta which was excellent and ate at two fish restaurants which were both good and value for money.Guest review byLewisUnited Kingdom

Breakfast is served on a terrace sporting beautiful views of the bay. All rooms designated with "ocean views" have great views over the bay from your private terrace. The staff were lovely. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring Amasra on foot, as it is right in the centre. Very good value.
