Excellent location, very close to main attractions. The hotel is new, very clean and our room was spacious and beautiful. Special thanks to Mr. Esat & Ertan and the other two gentlemen at the front desk (which I do not remember the names, sorry guys). They were all very kind and helpful, always with a smile. If we ever come back to Istanbul, we will choose this hotel for sure. Thank you all for the amazing stay, Katerina, Anna, Eirini

The staff - Burakchan and Emirhan were very helpful and friendly, especially with giving a good orientation of the area. Convenient location near Galata Port with plenty of restaurant choices and a relatively easy walk more touristy sections of the older city area around Galata Tower.

Its was all very clean, the room was very spacious and comfortable for two people. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and provided all the help we needed for our stay. The location is very precious, short walking distance (with some hills) to all the important things, like the Galata Tower and the Galata Bridge. Accessible by metro, ferry and car. Especially loved the location and the little bakery on a corner two blocks away from the hotel. Would definitely come back!

As soon as you get in the hotel, you can tell that you made a great choice. They have their own patisserie with both seating in/outside seating area and an excellent restaurant. The staff is beyond helpful and takes really good care of you, especially Sefa, Mustafa and Aziz. We stayed in a very comfortable room with a balcony which has a view on a beautiful mosque; the bathroom felt really luxurious and had full size accessories. The swimming pool area is a beautifully designed area offering a real relaxing experience. Overall I would recommend it to anyone. Well done guys!🇮🇹

FAQs about hotels in Istanbul

The Best of Asia and Europe

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendor and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.

Take a stroll through the historic center or the busy Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.

If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.

Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for a vacation in Istanbul.

We did most of the key sights-we were only there for a couple of days- I think 4 days would have been better -we could have done more. It is a beautiful city with a lot of history to see if you like that. There are cruises on the rivers - night and day that are very nice.- as well as mosques, palaces, museums. We did take tours to avoid lines and for more information which we enjoyed. We went to the Hagia Sofia which I read reviews that it was not really able to be seen by non-Moslems but we found we could see fine from upstairs.

A VAST city with a huge history. The tourist part was big enough, but it stretches for miles in all directions from there. The ferry's are great for moving across the river, and they are very cheap. There are some fabulous attractions to go and see in the centre. All the big ones are great, if a bit expensive.

Istanbul is a great city to visit.

Istanbul is a great city to visit. One thing I loved was the food. Another thing I liked about staying in Sultanahmet was the fact that the walking distance was doable to many sites. It was a bit pricey, but it is a tourist area. Coming from the US, it is not as expensive as where I live in Charleston, SC. Hawkers were sometimes annoying but added to the "bazaar" feel of the place. I really didn't mind; we have our own variety of hawkers in Charleston. There were some scammers around, but what big city doesn't have a variety of those. If you want to go into some of the sites, there is a wait, but I didn't find it a deal breaker. I went into the Basilica Cistern and enjoyed it immensely. The taxi to the airport was around 50 USD; traffic is awful. I tried using the metro as recommended by some but found it very difficult to deal with luggage and would not recommend. The streets are paved and very uneven and difficult with luggage even for a 15-minute walk. Be sure you get a legitimate taxi. You can get a regular ferry for the Bosphorus Strait and it is way cheaper than through a tour. However, if you want the dinner and show cruise that is a different thing.

I grew up in istanbul, on the Anatolian side where the Airbnb was located and the purpose of my trip was not touristic. Having said that, there are wonderful things to do in Istanbul from seeing the cultural places, to doing the Bosphorus tour and this place would be an ideal place to stay not only because of its central location but would also give the feel of how locals live.

We stayed for 7 nights. - The hotel was nice, quiet even though it was next to taksim square - the stuff was very polite and willing to help with everything we needed - the breakfast was good and tasty, even though it could be a little bit more varied. - the room was very comfortable and clean, with nice view. The cleaning lady was keeping our room clean and tidy every day. Overall, one of the best hotels I've stayed. Simple but with all the necessities. Next time I visit Istanbul, I'm definitely staying there again.

I found this hotel on booking and it was the first time I went to turkey, and it was absolutely amazing. Getting to the hotel was easy because of the subway from airport to the hotel. The hotel location was great, 2 minutes from subway, 3 minutes from tramway, secure place, and you can walk to Beyazit, Sultanahmet. The host Erdogan was helpful. The room was just like in the photos, and cleaning service was available. I would definitely go back to this hotel if I go back to Istanbul.

Location was perfect with stunning view over the Bosphorus. It was located super close to any major area with Istanbul best sites to view. Ferry and bus stops right next to hotel. One bus away from the airport. And area filled with shops, bars, restaurant and available very late in the evenings. Located next to busy road but once the balcony doors closed you can’t hear much of busy Istanbul outside.
