I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property is located right on a beautiful sandy beach with crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it the perfect spot to relax. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a good variety of options like meats, fresh fruits, and eggs made to order—though it’s not a buffet. The room was spacious and exceeded my expectations, and the bathroom was equally roomy. The water pressure was great, and I had a lovely sea view from the balcony. Internet was fast and reliable throughout my stay, which made working remotely a breeze. Plus, the hotel has a generator, so there were no issues with power outages. During the day, I enjoyed working in a quiet, shaded area of the hotel, and in the evenings, I dined on fresh seafood with wine right on the patio by the sea—such a special experience. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a detailed note with local price tips to avoid being overcharged, and sharing some great information about the island. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, stress-free stay with good service and a beautiful setting!

The entire property is really well laid out, with trees around the pool that give it a really warm and intimate feeling but also provide much-needed shade if you burn easily like I do. The food area and swing seats are inviting and relaxing, so it's a real oasis. The rooms are light and comfortable with good air conditioning. They are also remarkably sound proof, with some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in in Tanzania. The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful, and I love the resident kittens they have taken in. The food was good and breakfast was filling and tasty. It's well located in that the beach and shops are in very easy walking distance, but it isn't impacted by the hustle and bustle or the noise that is common in other venues. A really delightful find, we will certainly be back!

It’s really hard to believe that such a uniquely built hotel is suited where we found it in Nungwui. It’s beautiful. Modern and really breathtaking. The food was truly the icing on the cake. It tasted amazing. I’d stay again.

The staff is friendly and welcoming and Malgo & Tomek are the best! Genuinely interested in their visitors and will go out of their way to ensure your comfort. The facility is very clean and well kept. I also really liked that the beach in Matemwe is relatively clean and no one hustling for buys.

I am very satisfied with my stay! The flats are located in a very good location. There are many different facilities (e.g. a very large swimming pool). The room I had was large, clean and very comfortable. I must also thank the owners and the staff who took care of everything perfectly. They helped me in every situation. Zanzicrown is a modern, stylish hotel, situated in the more calm area of Numgwi, out of all the hassle. The room was big, extremely tidy with beautiful marble tile floor, bed was big and comfy and AC, hot water and wifi worked well all the time. They have very tasteful devoration and furniture, everything has a touch of design and elegance. The owners Elena and Matteo and their adorable cat Paolino treat us guests like we were family, always having time to chat and give great advice on what to see and do. For breakfast there was always a generous fruit plate, Elena's famous, freshly baked cakes and eggs and toast of your choise. All the staff was always helpful, arranging taxis, sunset cruises etc. Nearby is a lovely and relaxed Aluna sandy beach and a local restaurants with very good quality food for a very reasonable price, also vegetarian options easy to find.
