It is such an amazing experience, different from anywhere else in the world I have stayed. The place is set on the beach and on the fringes of Jomani Forest so the monkeys come during the day and you can watch them up in the trees. Camels, donkeys and goats are around but not intrusive, plus cats, a dog called Dudu and amazing bird and lizards. You can watch the villagers walk past on the beach singing or going fishing, and in the evening playing football (very serious and they warm up with exercises first), The staff are amazing and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food !!! they have an incredible cook! At dusk they come to ask if you want your room sprayed against mosquitoes and hand you a little rolled up rhyme wishing you well and give you two biscuits to have with your late night tea or coffee. I have never been in such a peaceful haven in Nature... I could have stayed forever!

We stayed at this beautiful resort for 10 nights and had an amazing experience. The nature and surroundings are stunning. Anita and the entire team were incredible—so kind, always happy, and truly made us feel like part of their small family. :) We loved that it’s a small resort, which makes it so peaceful and never crowded. It’s the perfect fit for a relaxing vacation. The food was delicious, and the rooms were spotless. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay at Habibi B&B. The room is spacious and beautiful. The outdoor area is calm and quiet. Beautiful swimmingpool. Moreover, there is an outdoor kitchen that was very useful to cook our own meals. Close to the beach. And Paola is very kind and makes sure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. Fantastic accommodation right on the beach! Staff was absolutely amazing, super-kind and willing to assist at any moment and with any request! Bungalows are beautifully maintained, our beds were made every day with beautiful decoration, just like the photos on Booking show. Swimming pool kept clean and nice. Food in the restaurant was delicious and perfectly safe (fresh fruit and veg washed in filtered water). After receiving the confirmation that the bar also uses just bottled water, I think we tried all of the cocktails and genuinely enjoyed them! Our particular "thank you" goes to Precious, who helped us organize all the different tours around the island: snorkeling, scuba diving, Stone Town visit, a day at Kendwa and Nungwi beaches, turtle cave,.... always managing to find the unbeatable, best price! The sand on the beach right in front of the resort is probably the finest and whitest of all on Zanzibar! What we liked in particular is that the beach was also not too frequently visited by beach vendors, and they were definitely not allowed to enter the area around the swimming pool in resort. This really helped the tranquility under the sun!

Everything was incredible. From The welcoming staff who fetched us at the airport, to the amazing owner and his lovely wife, the cleaning staff, restaurant staff, security, and grounds staff were all simply amazing. Everyone went out their way to make sure we were well taken care of and nothing was too big of an ask.

If we could give this property a higher rating, we would! My wife and I stayed there as the last stop of our honeymoon trip across Zanzibar, and our experience in this hotel exceeded our expectations! Villa: We stayed at the Sultan Villa, which was very spacious and clean and offered an opportunity to unwind during the day whenever we needed a break from the sun. The bed was very comfortable, and the view of the ocean was dreamy! There is a good-sized patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee first thing and listen to the calming waves. We also got the chance to watch some monkeys playing directly in front of us, which was great entertainment. Food: If you are a foodie, you will love this place. From breakfast to dinner, we were spoiled for choice, including freshly baked pastries, numerous egg options made right in front of you by one of the chefs, local fruit, and freshly brewed coffee. The dinners were two-hour long feasts with different themes each night. We were lucky to experience the Swahili dinner on Tuesday night, with live music to accompany the expertly prepared meals. We also had a special welcome dinner prepared for us on the beach on the first night, which we really appreciated :) Staff: The nicest people working on the property who were always happy to help and made us feel at home! We learnt a lot about the dishes they were serving and their ingredients. You also have someone by the pool area to talk about the tides and the best times for swimming or kayaking/paddling (both sports are available at the property). Pool / beach area: Very comfortable loungers with a direct view of the ocean! The whole property is very well maintained. Spa: Definitely get to the spa before leaving, we had a very relaxing massage and my wife got a papaya facial which she loved. We would love to come back next time we are in Zanzibar! Thank you for everything :)

The resort was clean and had the island atmosphere. Food was good and a variety to choose wwwith different restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a reminnder that you will pay extra at the airport for insurance fees and also extra tax fees at the hotel if its not included in your original price.

This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi...

This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi bar, it has what you need, different restaurangs, a super market, beachbar and so on. There is not so many other tourists here so you feel like its really a part of an small island. If you are looking for highend dining and alot of shopping then i advise you to look for another area or do as we did - get a car or a taxi its ok priced for a full day. The traffic was really suprising - its was better then most so called modern countries - slow, keeping distance -respecting each other - we rented a car for 3 days and it was super nice. We payed 30usd/day + 10usd for the local driving license - dont drive to fast or drunk - the police are really on there toes - and mind the big roadbumps... We ate a lot of lobster and fish - always fresh - never dissapointed, we also ate alot of vegetarian food - its everywere great dishes.

The location was excellent.

The location was excellent. The vegetation was very nice, and the seating places were very comfortable. Following my unfavourable interaction with cats, we were upgraded to a bigger room with an ocean view since I have ailurophobia (cat phobia). Thanks to the hotel owners for such a gesture. We had an issue with our bank card, and they also gave us more time during our stay to sort this out. Disliked · Being an Ailurophobia (Cats phobic), I did not enjoy the outdoor space because several cats roamed everywhere, including the restaurant, balconies and stairs. This has nothing to do with the owners but my personal condition. I advise those with similar conditions to avoid this place. Areas of improvement include breakfast - more food diversity and a balanced diet are needed. The beds in the rooms need to be fixed to avoid noise. Bathrooms need upgrading.

Spice market was very interesting to learn and see how the herbs and spices we use on a daily basis is grown and cultivated. Stone Town has a lot of history and a spice shoppers paradise. Prison Island wasn’t bad, expected more but the turtles made it worth the visit.

Very small quiet village on the east coast of Zanzibar,...

Very small quiet village on the east coast of Zanzibar, perfect for a relaxing romantic vacation. If some action is needed you can go to the nearby Kiwendwa, only 20 20-minute drive, or to the bigger more touristy areas in the north up to an hour drive. But to enjoy the island in full Uroa is one of the best places. And the best food! (we have tried in 5 different villages across Zanzibar!

The tourism activities they superb I enjoyed nakupenda sand beach nd jet skiing in Kuwenda beach,and the stone town cashew nuts were very nice nd fresh, out of all the tour guide I booked for excursions with their services are wonderful we were able to get easy to our excursions places

The resort is beautiful, clean and well maintained. There are 3 large swimming pools with more than enough deck chairs for everybody. The staff are polite and very friendly. The food was superb - I booked the 'all inclusive' option - this included breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as selected drinks during the day. The executive chef Lotfy and his team are definately a HUGE asset for the hotel - everybody was complimenting the high quality and big variety of food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really loved this hotel. The location is perfect. A quiet and peaceful place where you can truly relax your body and soul. The beach is absolutely beautiful — white sand, turquoise ocean, and a feeling of complete calm. Special thanks to the administrators (especially Dainesa) — I felt genuine care, attention, and warmth from them. This is a place I would truly love to come back to.

The attention to detail at this hotel was superb - well done to the general manager for keeping his eye on everything.We had a slight water problem with our shower and this was dealt with immediately. The movement of the Masai men was fantastic and they kept the hotel safe and secure at all times. All staff were attentive but not obtrusive.

This is a quiet beach hotel on the beaches of Uroa. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and I would certainly recommend staying here! The Hotel is perfectly integrated in the environment, directly on the beach, the rooms are cleaned every day. Maasai security with the Boss also very good.
