The breakfast was such a wonderful experience. I am still dreaming of those delicious waffles and such a variety of foods. The pool area with the Tiki bar was such a nice place to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. The rooms were extremely clean and very large. We also loved the beautiful walk-in shower. The free cocktails and daily bottled water were also a pleasant delight. The free shuttle bus every 45 minutes and the tourist information in the lobby. We booked a number of attractions at Key West with the tourist specialist in the lobby. We will definitely come back, and I have already recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

Very clean and comfortable‘aqua-lodge’. I thought this would be very basic but it was absolutely lovely. The abundance of wildlife was amazing. We had pelicans and storks on our roof, manatees under our boat as well as sharks and tarpons. Truly brilliant.

On a family trip to Miami we traveled to Key West for 4 nights. We had a Queen Suite for the 5 of us (2 adults & 3 teens). It was a perfect size. There was a small kitchenette with a sink, fridge, microwave & coffee machine. We had brought paper plates, paper towels and plastic cutlery (purchased in supermarket locally) and had a few basics for the hungry teenagers so having a small kitchen area was handy but we did mainly ate out. The hotel itself is really lovely, a very relaxed feel to it & well kept. Very friendly & helpful staff. The hotel is situated directly across the road from Smathers Beach which is absolutely beautiful. We also spent time around the hotel pool, which was lovely. There was road works directly outside on main road but still easy to cross over to the beach and we never heard any construction noise. Parking (free) was right outside hotel door on the grounds which was ideal. A free shuttle bus runs to the town centre and back to the hotel regularly, which was really handy & we availed of this service a few times! It stayed during Halloween week, it was extra fun and lively in the town especially on Duval Street which we loved! But also taking time to walk around the smaller streets & Mallory Square was lovely. We were staying on Halloween night & the room next door in the Hotel had music quite loud with some noise (which is expected, given the evening it was!). It was only early, around 8/8.30pm & having our own teens it didn’t bother us. However obviously another resident complained as we did hear hotel staff call to the room and ask them politely to turn it down and there was no more noise for the rest of the night. We were impressed with the staff dealing with it so quickly even though it wasn’t too bad and it was Halloween after all! We loved our stay in the Margaritaville Beach house, can’t fault anything. Highly recommend a stay here & Key West is beautiful. We’ll be back!
