When we got into town there was a fair/farmers market going on for Octoberfest with German music being played. We went down to Torch Lake and ate at Docksides (very good) on the water. Met some folks who were there as well on a mini-vacation, and they told us about the Bellaire Fish House for fresh whitefish pate, OMG it was fantastic and NOT fishy at all. Wish we had bought extra now :(. Also had a Great dinner at Chloe's restaurant, very reasonable and charming. :)

Bellaire is a cute little town with some fun venues and interesting shops. I wish we could have spent more time checking out the town. It's very pedestrian friendly and the locals are friendly as well. We had a lot of fun at the Shorts Rocktoberfest!

Had a little trouble finding a place to have breakfast, as we got up late one morning and all the restaurants had stopped serving. Ended up at a coffee shop that offered breakfast sandwiches, but that sure wasn't what we wanted. Bellaire itself is a cute little town.

The location was ideal for us, as we were attending an event in downtown Bellaire. Everything was very clean and looked like it was fairly new inside. The beds were comfortable. The living room had comfy sofas. I would have given everything a 10. Except probably there needs to be a little bit more kitchen. Items such as coffee mugs and plates, and such. But otherwise it really was quite lovely, and I would highly recommend.

The hotel is not part of the resort, though it is managed by it. It is by the golf course, and quiet. There is no main lobby. The rooms are 'rustic'. There is no elevator (if you need one, ask for the first floor). Meals aren't included. There are dining options on the resort property, all of which are adequate.

Rooms were neat and clean. The popcorn and Wii kept the kids happy, and the access to Torch Lake and downtown Bellaire is pretty good since it is right there. The minimal amenities were nice.

It was a very homey location. Very clean. Everything you need to lounge, cook, and even go on a lake or pool outing. The staff was very attentive and accomodating.
