It’s a cute old town, but not what I expected - no boutiques or independent shops. The Lighthouse Candle Store was great and we made candles but really nothing else to do. We drove out of town to visit a winery 30 minutes away because we couldn’t find anything to do in town.

The lake was beautiful. We didn't realize it was as big as it is until we actually saw it. There are a lot of beautiful places to walk, and several nice restaurants to eat at. There didn't seem like a lot to "do"; however, if you want a place that reminds you of a beach down south, then this is the place for you.

Our stay was good, great location, staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing, we really enjoyed watching the sunrise from our balcony 😍. The room was big, beds were comfy and balcony was great to go out on an relax. Since the place is smaller there was a time we could not park directly in front of our room door but the parking wasn't that far of a walk a way. The ice machine was clean and easy to get to. My family and I cannot wait to book another stay.

Celina is such a neat little lake town. Lots of fun water fun. The beach was fun for the kids to play at. The playground and splash pad for the kids was so huge and amazing. The kids absolutely loved it. There were a lot of yummy restaurants to eat at too. And a great ice cream place too.

Room was clean and comfortable. No shampoo, no hand towels, no signal on the TV. Accidentally used my key card on the wrong room and it opened the door! The regular bath towels were great. Nice size room.

Celina was a very nice town. Locals were great. The Anchor restaurant is the go to place. Great staff and owner. Great food and drink! Pass on the beach bar/ grill over by the lake. Grumpy, impatient staff. Greasy food (Cubano) just thrown on the plate. Weak beer selection. Should have gone back to the Anchor.... The Hazelnut Coffee Company is very nice. Great Coffee and food. Couple of the staff must have not had their morning coffee. Said good morning to one and hello while holding the door for her and neither responded in any way. Note: They are closed on Sunday??? Why?? That's prime time! Would haven given anything for coffee and a snack to take to the lakeside picnic tables. Celina is an interesting town. Definitely up and coming. We will go back there and the West Bank Inn.
