The hotel was exceptionally beautiful and the staff could not have been more helpful, right from Valet service, front desk, concierge service to housekeeping. We loved that we had a kitchen and could have breakfast in our suite. Having an outside deck on the second floor for guest use was a lovely bonus!

We were happy with most of the places we vistied such as downtown, Fort Sumpter, Boon Plantation, Slavy Museum. The Charlston Eco Cruise Boat Tour was musch less that we thought it was. Lunch at Burtions Grill & Bar was great. Southwest Chicken Salad. Dinner at Fleet Landig was good especially the Heugonot Tort. We went back for another Tort!

Oh my it was hard to leave and wish we had booked to stay longer. Stayed at Shem Creek Inn which was nice area along the water. Charleston is History packed and visited downtown Historical district, took carriage ride for tour. Ferry ride to Fort Sumter and tour there incredible. Boone Plantation was fantastic with knowledgeable and fun guides. Beautiful beautiful area. Fleet Landing was delicious along with Hank’s and the Market downtown was fun, even purchased a print. Had lunch on John’s island which was great. I’d return to Charleston in a heartbeat. Oh yes and people are so friendly with their Southern Hospitality

Charleston is a fascinating city to visit.

Charleston is a fascinating city to visit. There is so much to see and not enough time to see it all. AND the food is absolutely terrific. We did not have any meal while we in Charleston that was not supreme. We definitely want to come back.

If you love history Charleston is a must!

If you love history Charleston is a must! We loved the historic walking tour we took. It is a beautiful city! It was extremely charming and clean. There are many wonderful restaurants and lots of great shopping on King Street and the City Market. We stayed on King Street and walked everywhere that we went with the exception of one restaurant and that’s because it was raining.

Charleston is a charming small city.

Charleston is a charming small city. A lot of construction going on but then it was founded by English settlers 355 years ago, so that’s understandable. The variety is what makes it fun & educational. There are plantations such as Magnolia and Boone Hall to tour and I highly recommend both. If you’re traveling with a dog, your furry family member can tour the gardens of both places. Dogs are also allowed on the trolley tour at Boone Hall. Just no entering buildings. Other activities include ghost tours, boat tours, and museum on the history of slave markets. Many lovely churches with their high spirals. Parking is expensive, but we found the city very walkable and enjoyed evening strolls as well. If you’re traveling with munchkins in a stroller, (or again dogs), Hampton Park is a treat.

Hadn't been to Charleston in several years. It was great to see it all again along with the latest additions. Have been to many cities in my lifetime after leaving Charleston but always returned as it is still the most spell bound place i've ever lived in this country.

Picked this hotel for the ease of visiting Charleston, which was only a few minutes drive away. Benefits were free parking, a clean modern hotel with an inviting pool area which we took advantage of. Great location for visiting many other places of interest on Mount Pleasant too, so perfect for us.

Lovely clean room. Best feature was hourly shuttle bus to take you downtown and pick you up hourly. The drivers couldn't have been more helpful often going out of their way to bring you directly to your destination of choice. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. Location excellent.
