Also full of history and the Texas experience of ranching to the explorative. Check out the Perot Museum, especially with kids. If you want Tex-Mex with the best prices, check out Desperados on Greenville. I was born in Dallas in 1966 and only moved away (to France) after 40 years. Dallas is a huge place but the driving is wild most fun i've had moving around a city. keep on your toes and study your maps ahead of time if you want to avoid having to double back on parts of the drive.
