The grand theater at Choctaw Casino is great for concerts. There's a couple of good local restaurants : Main Street Barbecue, Roma's, Jalepeno's. But, the whole town smells weed. No matter where we went, it smelled like weed. The hotel west of 75, the restaurant downtown, the casino parking lot all reeked like weed.

If you are comfortable in 2.0-2.5 star hotels Then Durant is the place for you There’s a lot of food options in the area of the hotels if you are of color the locals especially in Walmart eyeball you The only good I can say about Durant is that the casino resort is paying out and very nice we ordered domino’s it was disgusting AVOID THE LAQUINTA BY WYNDHAM ONLY ANIMALS SHOULD BE IN THERE IT IS BEAUTIFUL ON THE OUTSIDE BUT ONCE YOU LEAVE THE FRONT LOBBY AREA EVERYTHING IS SMELLY STAINED UNCLEAN YOUR BED MAY EVEN HAVE BLOOD IN IT 2/5 of the rooms/suites we reserved the bed/pillows were blood stained FRESH BLOOD NOT WASHED AND STILL VISIBLE.

We spent 2 nights and the casino was pretty empty. Did get to play blackjack so was happy. All staff members knowledgeable and friendly throughout entire facility and all restaurants. There is no need to go outside the hotels or casinos to have plenty to do.

I really like the fact that there are several hotels conviently located right off the main highway along with several different eateries. There's also a Walmart and a Big Lots for anything else you might need.

All businesses were minimally maintained. IHOP was gross, had to walk out before we even got our food. Trash littered all the streets. People were friendly, but nobody was the least bit concerned about COVID. The steakhouse was yummy, but service was slow. Definitely have room to improve all around the town, and maybe people would come for more than the casino!

Our stay was so pleasant! I was so excited and upon arrival, everything was amazing. So freaking comfy, the bedding, beds, shower and room! Great location and can not wait to return. The rooms are pricey, as should be expected, BUT!, I also believe it wouldn't hurt none to lower them in the INN especially. With all the upgrades and constant patrons spending, RECONSIDER YOUR RATES PLEASE AND ALLOW LATE CHECK-OUTS, WITH A small FEE. THANK YOU!
