    The ocean at Emerald Isle is stunning. The beach is clean. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. Plenty of shells and sealife to observe. I love the respect for animals and nature apparent in the area. Plenty to do for everyone both in Emerald Isle and surrounding area. Can’t wait to come back.

    Everything was great about our trip.

    Everything was great about our trip. We have stayed in Emerald Isle many times. This was the first time staying at the Pebble beach community and the only thing we feel could be improved is the ramp to walk down to the beach was covered with a LOT of sand. One of the main reasons I booked in this community was this ramp! My son has difficulty with steps so I was so excited. Well, the sand covered the bottom half of the ramp so it made it difficult for him to walk on it. It was a LOT of sand. The stairs ended up being the better option. We just needed to take it slow and other guests were very patient. The community should have someone in charge of clearing the sand on this ramp daily or having it is pointless. VA Beach has similar ramps every 4 blocks and they are cleared off daily so guests can use strollers, wheelchairs, walkers etc. It was not just us who struggled. I witnessed families with strollers also struggle. Everything else about our unit and the community were great!

    Some of the best chill spots to eat - Gaffers, Fish Hut,...

    Some of the best chill spots to eat - Gaffers, Fish Hut, Sharks Den, Snapperz & the Trading Post are some of our favorites when we visit. We just found the Thirsty Surfer bar for the first time on this trip and love the outdoor beach bar vibes. Everything is so easy to get to on the island. Beach was clean easily accessible and not over crowded.

    Everyone has a favorite place and Emerald Isle is mine.

    Everyone has a favorite place and Emerald Isle is mine. All the surrounding cities are beautiful as well! Other than the beach and shops, my family enjoyed Bogue's Inlet Pier, NC Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores, Fort Macon State Park and Oceanana Pier in Atlantic Beach.

    I liked that the beach was just a walking distance.

    I liked that the beach was just a walking distance. Like a few hundred feet away only! Was very convenient especially since I had children with me. Staff was also nice. Hotel can be updated. The shower fob was very loose and could fall off at anytime. One of our beds had a what looked like a dead roach on the blanket. The towels didn’t feel really clean. Had a residue of some sort and the room had an odd smell when we entered. The tv and lamp in our room didn’t work as well. I had read some really good reviews prior to booking but it really was a let down.

    Beautiful place to stay, I loved it!!

    Beautiful place to stay, I loved it!! It rain all day Saturday, so unable to enjoy the beach. The walk to the beach not bad, but would have loved ocean front, but could view the water over the parking lot. We enjoyed the restaurant Gaffer's so that will be out favorite spot. A great place to relax.
