I didn't know anything about Falmouth. I just basically chose it due its proximity to the Woods Hole ship terminal. It turned out to be a terrific choice. It is quiet, safe, and has a great Main Street with excellent shops and restaurants.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0

The shops are excellent and the bike path runs for miles and through Falmouth to Woods Hole. The beaches are pebble covered but beautiful and plenty of large stones to sit on to enjoy. Foliage through the town beautiful and back roads lovely. Plenty of local places to stop like lighthouse and state parks. Access to Marthas Vineyard easy using Steamship Authority with parking lots and shuttles in town. Falmouth is a lovely town on the Cape. The downtown is sweet with a wonderful bakery: Maison Villatte has incredible bread and desserts. The Thai restaurant: Bangkok Cuisine was delicious and flavorful. Coffee Obsession is great for a long morning coffee.Guest review byElaineUnited States - 10.0
