My only complaint was 5B's BBQ.
My only complaint was 5B's BBQ. I had the two meat plate of brisket and pulled pork with a side of coleslaw and beans. The portions were tiny and the McRib from Mickey D's is better BBQ. I thought Gunnison was a clean, safe and lovely small town. We ate at Subway and took our lunches to the beautiful park and ate. We had our dog with us and there were plenty of picnic tables and shade trees so it was perfect.Guest review byCervera - 8.0
Cute little spot.
Cute little spot. Was up there for work but have been going up there since I was a kid. Not a lot of fast food so be warned but lots there still if you enjoy the outdoors and the little mom and pop spots. I have always liked Gunnison.
I have always liked Gunnison. It's great if you are an active outdoors person. Blue Mesa has amazing fishing. Good hunting nearby. Great mountain biking in and around Gunnison. Great little city in a beautiful setting.
Great little city in a beautiful setting. Could definintely spend more time there exploring, but it was just a stop on the way to our destination near Grand Junction. Ate at The Palisades (recommended by clerk) and food was good. Driving around, there seem to be many options for a variety of tastes (BBQ, Mexican, American, etc).Guest review byLeEllenUnited States
