The hotel management kicked me out a day before my...
The hotel management kicked me out a day before my reservation was up. I was enjoying time with my partner, who was very unexpectedly picked up by police for a warrant. The managers, the front desk, housekeeping - no one said anything to me. At about 4pm on the same Saturday, I was told I needed to go to the main office because I was supposed to leave. The first reason/excuse was "The booking isn't in your name" (yes it was, had proof, partner did the check in). The second reason/excuse was "Your name isn't on the booking" (same proof as before). Final excuse...they said that since police were there, they HAD TO kick me out. NOW they are claiming to customer service that I never checked in. Because of all this, I noticed I never received my $100 deposit money back. I'm fixing the police thing, but do they really think anyone would come back after this kind of treatment? I want everyone who comes across this motel to know they aren't secure in their booking if management randomly decides to kick them out....or, at least you can purchase the cancel insurance on the website.
