I had an incredible stay at this charming wooden cabin in Homer. The cabin is beautifully built, with wood details, a warm interior, and everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing escape. The location is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by trees and nature. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking meals.

The key code made it easy to enter into the cabin, and I didnt have to worry about losing a key or forgetting it in the room. The host was amazing, she made special arrangements for us to check in earlier than the 4pm check in. My 80 year old parents really appreciated that. The pillows were amazing! The cabin was beautiful and all the accomdations inside were cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect too! Right kiddy corner from Homer Brewing and the Pickled Pear! YUM I would definitely stay here again. The price is better than a hotel!

    We really enjoyed exploring Homer.

    We really enjoyed exploring Homer. We enjoyed the Homer Spit. Fun shops to browse, shop & good places to dine. Would recommend the Harbor Grill Seaford & Steak Restaurant. Great salmon & halibut! Walking the beach was fun along the Spit & seeing the Seafarer's Memorial was very moving. Our son lives in Homer, so we had a tour guide to take us all over. The Alaskan Islands & Oceans visitors center was a fun adventure & the walking trail were a nice way to get some Alaskan fresh air. Homer was a fun place to visit & we can't wait to explore more the next time we go visit our son. I'd post pics but I can't figure out how to upload them from my phone. LOL!

    the view of the mountains and glaciers was beautiful. People in Homer are very friendly and personable. Homer Spit is really nice. Fishing boats are interesting and Captain Patties is a great place to eat.

    Homer is great for fisherman.

    Homer is great for fisherman. We also took a seaplane into Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks. We spent 4 nights and it was perfect. Highly recommend the Kannery for dinner. They also had a great Texas BBQ food truck up the highway from the Homer Spit between Safeway and the Kannery.

    Small fishing village : would be a day trip , not a 3 day...

    Small fishing village : would be a day trip , not a 3 day stay but the hikes and water activities kept us busy . Easy way around the main strip . We took a water taxi over to the other side of the bay to hike . This area is very expensive due to the fact that it is so far away from the rest of the world . Not value for money but breathtaking views for sure .

    due to it being a holiday weekend, thought more restaurants would be open, and a few places that were open had long lines of folks trying to get in to eat, for me, not much to do since we don't fish, kept driving around to get out of our room, got my sewing done.

    Great area. Plan ahead. We did the Saltry which is an informative boat ride to a remote restaurant for lunch and a full day fishing charter w North Country Charters on The Tuff Stuff. All reserved in advance. Enjoyed Fireweed Gallery. Fresh Catch restaurant on the Spit is great. Off the spit Kannery and Hungry Hoat were also good.

    Lovely renovated building. We had upstairs Room C Tidepool which had fabulous mountain views and a balcony to enjoy them. Owners were born in Homer and left great information on their favourite places to eat and things to do. Easy walk to Bishops Beach, eateries, supermarket and old Homer town but need car to get to Homer Spit

    The location is amazing and staff were super helpful. View from our window was otters swimming and amazing mountains and glaciers...what could be better. Yes, hotel is run down (i think they are in the process of doing it up)...but we loved its charm and the room had everything we needed.
