It was a fantastic stay, located very close to the Cornell University, at the most affordable cost. The staffs are friendly, and very supportive. Located close to downtown, good number of restaurants are also available. Great choice!

Staff is super welcoming and helpful. Very tasty breakfast included, capped to $25 and you pay for any excess after that. Nice and handy gym at the ground floor kept me active during my stay. Location is great, right downtown close to shops and restaurants. Parking is a block away and prices are reasonable, $10 per day.

    Cute walkable town surrounded by beautiful scenery. Vibrant community. Many wonderful options for food and drink. I recommend Mix and Revelry Yards. There is a beautiful little waterfall hiking trail at the edge of town. The farmer's market was an impressive collection of produce, prepared foods, and artisanal goods. There is a huge park with paths, a playground, and kayak rentals. Ithica is a great starting point if you want to visit the many wineries on Cayuga Lake.

    We found in Ithaca what we were looking for. We wanted peace, quiet, with a friendly environment. People were friendly and helpful, and whenever we went to visit certain areas, people were nice to talk to and very helpful.

    If you are into semi- city, country surroundings, Ithaca is...

    If you are into semi- city, country surroundings, Ithaca is the place for you. Small town, plenty of attractions downtown in the commons. There is no IHOP in Ithaca however, The State Diner definitely makes up for that. For me, the only downside is the condition of some of the roads, especially going through the neighborhood to get to the college campus. Other than that, Ithaca is my second home.

    Ithaca is a beautiful town full of natural beauty, featuring lots of hiking trails, gorges and waterfalls; great for a quiet getaway. There’s a nice downtown with wide, cobblestone, pedestrian only shopping area that feels almost European. Good, dining and low-key shopping.

    Wish we had spent more time there.

    Wish we had spent more time there. Cliffside hikes, Buttermilk Falls and natural pools are what we missed. We were there for College hockey playoffs but we did have time to visit charming downtown. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Very, very friendly and welcoming locals.

    Wow, it's true-- there are NUMEROUS waterfalls, some within walking distance. Cornell Campus is enormous. I got lost. It contains an arboretum and don't miss the on-campus creamery. There are wonderful cafes, great coffee, great ethnic food, shops, bookstores, and of course Moosewood Restaurant. The glacial ravines and trails and bridges all over town are incredible. There are several state parks to visit and even a swimming hole with diving board under a waterfall, also nearby. Don't miss the Suffragette Museum, the wineries, and the wildlife refuge on a side trip to Seneca Falls.

    Very good location just outside of Ithaca and close to Buttermilk Falls State Park. Nice size rooms and comfortable large beds. Hotel offers a simple continental breakfast for a very fair price however there are some richer options very close. Excellent and free parking and kind and attentive hotel staff. Hotel is also well maintained and has a serene Buddhist vibe.

    The views and grounds were stunning, and the inside, set in Victorian style, made me feel like the character in a classic novel. Woke up to views of the lake and a lovely breakfast. Staff were super nice and our room was cleaned and vacuumed every day. Close to the falls and state parks, and only 15-20 minutes from Ithaca. Would definitely stay again!

    Chose this hotel as it was the most affordable one when we were booking and it is a very nice hotel with a quiet surrounding, spacious clean rooms and free parking. It also has a range of amenities including a laundry area which was great for us.. there is a restaurant in the hotel but we didn't eat in. A good choice for us

    We have stayed at this hotel for many trips on the way to Toronto, but unfortunately we won't anymore because we have a new dog and they charge a non-refundable $100-$150 dollar pet fee. More than we would like to pay and our dog is definitely going to join us. Too bad. Oh well.
