Please avoid this place! I wish I would've read the reviews before booking The Comfort Suites in Kennewick. The staff was rude and discourteous, seemed annoyed that we were interrupting her as she had a mouthful of food. She put both of our parties at the end of the hotel near the highway. It was impossible to sleep, making the next days travel unbearable. Breakfast was decent and the rooms were spacious and clean but that is the only 2 things that were tolerable. When asked to move to a quieter part of the hotel, we were denied. According to a fellow traveler, the hotel was not booked. Good location, comfortable bed. Breakfast was typical hotel food- bland and cold, soggy potatoes, watered down coffee. Dry sauna was out of order. Grounds were dirty with cigarette butts, trash. Kennewick is usually a great stop of ours.
Kennewick is usually a great stop of ours. Plenty to do such as wine tasting, walk along the river, boat races and Farmer Markets. Red Lion is not a place I would recommend but there are many other places to stay in central Kennewick. Lots of restaurants within walking distance of several hotels. I was not informed I would be charged $50 , and if the room checked out I would be reimbursed! Was not told this and I do not like that I am being charged an extra $50, until all was cleared! The Tri-cities area has really grown over the last 5 years.
The Tri-cities area has really grown over the last 5 years. Now there are lots of restaurants, golf courses, hotels in all price ranges.
