We loved the Arizona Opry ( fantastic entertainment and food) A must SEE venue! We also went to Goldfield Ghost Town. The 1890's Mammoth Steakhouse Saloon had excellent steak and even entertainment. Very easy to get around Mesa. Downtown Mesa at night is spectacular!Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
What can I say?
What can I say? I can't think of any reason other than the warm winter weather and golf to come here. It's a massive suburb with suburban level traffic and a strip mall on every other block. Prices are high as are taxes. Drivers are aggressive. To get to the mountains requires a lot of driving.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 8.0
There were several things to do that were free.
There were several things to do that were free. The Mesa Temple had nice Christmas lights throughout the grounds that you could walk through for free. Also an ice skating rink with several Christmas backgrounds to take pictures. Several other things to see on Main Street. Food trucks at Pioneer Park across from the Mesa Temple. I travelled for more than 25 years all over the USA and Canada and this place was 10 times worse than the worst Motel 6. I am planning to contact Mesa City Council or similar. That license should be revoked. We booked almost one full week, but moved out after one night. I asked for a refund and was told to deal with Booking.com in that regard.
