    The state park is one of the gems of the area.

    The state park is one of the gems of the area. It's been my favorite state park since I was a kid. It's not really in the town of Mitchell, but about 3 miles down the road. Mitchell has several nice fast food restaurants. Chicago's Pizza was a great place to eat.

    The room we were in was in need of updating.

    The room we were in was in need of updating. The paint was peeling in doorway to bathroom, the carpet looked and felt dirty, the veneer was off the nightstand, windowsill had dust and several dead ladybugs. Worst of all, at 5:30 AM we were awakened to a mouse in the room, gaining entry under the hallway door.
