Location is incredible. Close to everything, but not in the middle of everything. We had cleaning everyday, and the daily bottle of water was a nice plus. Extremely comfortable beds, great view, quick check in. It couldn’t have been a better stay.

New York is a fantastic city to visit for people with energy and enthusiasm for the bright lights and bustle of a big city. Plenty of taxis available for those less mobile like us. Most places of interest within walking distance for those who are fit. We did a tour of Madison Square Gardens which was very informative and also visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum which was very thought provoking and very well presented. An amazing memorial to those who lost their lives.

Despite the obvious problems the city has at the moment, it's clear that efforts are being made to correct them. That's a real positive. Hope it will continue. We'll see after the next local election. The final day of my stays are always centered around the waterfront. A couple of ferry rides down the Hudson & around the harbor are simply easy to enjoy & really quite cheap.

Staying in or near times square is a great location to be in the thick of it with access to all ends of NYC for the sight seeing. If we where to come again we would stay more towards the west village as it is still a good location but slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Don't get caught in the tourist traps! you can see view points from rooftop bars without having to pay $60 admission fee and unless your sitting down to a posh meal every night, it isn't that expensive! We visited from the UK.. DO NOT try and adjust to the time difference, wake up naturally.. probably between 4-6am... get an uber to one end and walk back taking in all the sight seeing you want with less queues and beautiful sunrises! It's cheaper and easier because of how quiet it is, which isn't actually quiet!

Most of The City is busy, noisy, and high energy, and from street level the height of many of the buildings imposing. The financial district is quieter, there being less traffic, and The Met Museum is busy but quiet. Food is mostly not cheap, whether in restaurants, cafes or supermarkets.

It is truly in a great location, a stone's throw from Times Square. There are shops, restaurants, Subway Stations, Broadway all so close by and easy walking to other things like the Empire State Building, Rockerfeller Centre, 5th Avenue, Central Park. The rooms were modest but it is midtown Manhattan but clean, comfortable and with great airconditioning and bathroom. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I would certainly stay here again and have no hestitation in recommending the hotel.

We had a great experience at the Moderne NYC. The location was excellent, with Columbus circle a very short walk, and easy distance for Times Square. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and a good size for New York. Best of all were the team- we spent a week at the hotel and everyone we met was kind and accommodating. We will book here again the next time we’re in New York.

The hotel is great, the staff is very polite and well trained, rooms were clean, the hotel restaurant is good and they have an amazing rooftopbar with a view to the Empire State building. Additionally, I believe this to be the best location in Manhattan to stay, not too close to Times Square that it is to touristy, but close enough to do most things walking distance.

The location of the hotel is the real star. It's a 5 minute walk from Times Square and very close to a subway station that can get you anywhere in Manhattan within about 15 minutes. Amazingly it was also really quiet considering how busy the road was. The hotel lobby is also really loud but on the 30th floor we couldn't hear a thing.
