This information was completely provided in my previous statements. Customer service was the most challenging part of my stay. I was refused a AARP discount. I was refused a 7-day discount despite spending 7 consecutive nights at the Palestine Super 8 Wyndham.. (October 4 through 11)

Palestine is an odd town, it has about 1200 less people than where we live, really spread out. The reason for our trip was the train ride from Palestine to Rusk- this made the trip worth it- a reminder where to book our next stay!

Town has lots of events and festivities. We ate at the BEST restaurant! If you are looking for a Great meal, good atmosphere, and amazing prices, you must eat at the 1855 Steakhouse and seafood company. I would drive 90 minutes just to eat there again!!! The food was Amazing!

Not very clean. The picture was a lot nicer than the actual property. There was no breakfast available. Check in was very impersonal. I will never stay here again. The price was way too high for the stay. No hot water! No towels we had to go get some from the desk. Not comfortable.

Loved the trip we went to polar express and were very satisfied with the trip the hotel not so much I do not recommend staying at motel 6 it was not clean at all and not what the pictures provided said it would be like.

A genuine Texas town with a rich history and truly still rich in hospitality! The Fig Tree bed and breakfast is a must! The Piney Woods train ride was very enjoyable. Don't miss going to old town and experiencing some really cool shopping with a mix of old and new. I might have to move here!! Lots of good choices for eating! We ate at Pronto's and had the best gyro's ever. You'll love all the big southern homes too.
