Had a quick stay here. Tried a steakhouse in Rawlins but it was not very good and was overpriced and the bar was out of basic items. There was one wine selection to choose from. Rawlins was a great place to visit.
Rawlins was a great place to visit. There were many things to do while we were there. Also plenty of places to eat and stay at. The best place we ate at was Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse. On a hot day, there was a much cooler place to park a car in the shade at the ACT site. It is very easy to drive around and to get gas in Rawlins. People were using Rawlins for outdoor recreation, using bikes and backpacks.Guest review byFrederick “Rick”United States - 8.0
If your comfortable enough with extremely ice cold winds...
If your comfortable enough with extremely ice cold winds that rip through regularly and winter driving conditions and your not big on crowded towns with all those shopping malls than it's a good place to go. Especially for hunters,there's a lot of game out there and those of you who like photographing colorful sunrises and sunsets,Rawlins has a huge sky that often has so many vibrant colors you can't tell if your looking at the morning sky or setting sun. The manager was amazing.
The manager was amazing. We arrived at 11 pm the office closed at 10 pm. we called, he answered got up and got us settled. The room was clean and everything worked. The next morning he got us some ice and we were off on our way.Guest review byStevenUnited States - 2.0
I did not enjoy my time in Rawlings.
I did not enjoy my time in Rawlings. I could not get any phone service during my time there. Just a bad feeling when I saw the hotel we booked online. The photos were not representative of the hotel and felt disappointed when we got there. We decided to move on to another town and left after checking into the hotel. I’m sure there are nice hard working people there and perhaps the town is great but upon our short visit we were not able to find a good reason to stay.Guest review byColinUnited States

Clean rooms, clean beds, very quiet place, overall we say it's fine, the only two sore points are: 1) tub with obvious traces of dirt, rust/limescale. Just use powder products to clean everything, and make everything white and clean. 2) The TV doesn't work, the signal comes and goes, you can't see any channels, the decoder has very short cables and when they clean it you risk having them disconnected. It looked a bit tired on the outside as we arrived but we're pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern it was inside.
