The hotel was clean the staff was friendly the bed was comfortable.The bathroom had men's hairs from someone shaving their face and neck on the sink. There was men's hairs around the sink that was not clean prior to renting the space The bathroom could have been wiped down better. The Hamptons, North and South Shores of Long Island are beautiful. It was great to be back home. Riverhead has become a very lovely town; visit all the local wineries and restaurants and beach. Perfect location to see all of Long Island East End. Local farmstands are wonderful. For those that don't know New York.........visit the HAMPTONS and Riverhead is a perfect location as your hub. Canoe trips along the river are a fun day sport if you're up to "portages". Drive down Dune Road and awe the mansions. Visit the DUCK!Guest review byRalphUnited States - 10.0
Convenient location for wedding venue in South Hampton.
Convenient location for wedding venue in South Hampton. Dated but absolutely clean and maintained meticulously. Accommodated over 35 family members. Has a large veranda outside 1st floor rooms for family to gather. Staff members were perfect hosts. Only drawback was that it had no elevator in our building because it only had two floors. I love the place but I think the pool should have had adult swim hours, even one would be great. There wasn't much opportunity for adults to swim that school holiday weekend so I think at least one hour should have been for adults. Riverhead is conveniently located near the North Fork of Long Island. We absolutely loved the the Long Island Aquarium. If you like nature, we can highly recommend Wildwood Beach on the Long Island Sound, the Cranberry Bog and the Lavender Farm just outside of town. Getting around Riverhead is easy and major stores and restaurants were within a short distance from the Swiss Motel.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

River Head is in close proximity to the both the North and South Forks and other areas on the western part of the island. It's a very area with many tourist attractions. The people are nice and it's not too much traffic.Guest review byDonna
