First time to Vermont and we loved it.

First time to Vermont and we loved it. Rutland is adorable, however this time of year, many restaurants were closed 2-3 days a week. It was a girls trip, but will be back next fall with hubby. Shout out to Bailey’s Place for food and Trivia with TJ was a hoot! They have a designated fryer for those of us with celiac, so that was a real treat. We walked downtown trying to find as many of the murals and sculptures we could, and used Rutland as a base for all our day trips. Their location was central to them all. Don’t miss Wilson’s Castle and enjoy as many Creemies as you can find!

Filthy bathroom, black mold in shower head, stinky mold smell in bathroom, brown stains on hair dryer, room smelled of smoke. breakfast food was inedible- sausage and eggs - I only eat protein for breakfast, eggs were sitting there for probably 5 days rubbery and greenish. Don't go there, unless you have no other option! Pool was nice!

We went for a long weekend to visit family and stayed at the Hamption Inn, which was comfortable and very convenient for our family visits. The Inn was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was a plus and there was something for everyone!! Will stay here again when we go back in the fall.

Rutland is a great location for skiers but there has been no new hotel built in ages and current hotels seem to be steadily declining while prices have risen considerably to make it a much worse value than 20, 10 , or even 5 years ago.

    Just a disgusting place.

Just a disgusting place. Staff are unprofessional and the house keepers dress like Bums. Mold in the rooms. Refrigerators and microwaves we're disgusting. Will never recommend you! The doors outside wer broke the pool did t even work. There was not hot breakfast. Mold in the bathrooms along with alcohol bottles on the dresser. Just nasty.

Hike to Killington Peak was awesome!!!

Hike to Killington Peak was awesome!!! Take a sweater for when you reach the peak. It has splendid views but it gets cold and windy up there. it takes about 2 to 3 hours to get to the peak depending on how many times you stop. Most of the hike is moderate/easy until the last 5 minutes where it gets a little difficult but it is worth it. You ca bring your dog with you. It is about 20 minutes from the Days Inn in Rutland.

I really liked the way the hotel looked and the fact that there is a mall next to the hotel with a giant parking lot which was good for us. We also liked that the pool and gym are big and that we didn't have to walk too far to reach a supermarket.

We had 2 connecting rooms of which one was upgraded to a suite with living room and kitchen. Very comfortable! Good breakfast. Rutland is not the greatest location, we were traveling through.

We went there for skiing in Killington. The location was good. The breakfast was good. I liked the hotel as a few scattered houses instead of a big block of a highrise.

As an exception from most of the other hotels visited on the trip it had a heater that did not make a lot of noise
