This place is located near some good restaurants and great outdoor activities. There is a beautiful waterfall a few miles away that has an easy hike and a swimming area. We took the dogs. Sapphire is located between the towns of Brevard and Cashiers NC. There are several excellent restaurants and breweries close by for you to enjoy after going hiking to the many waterfalls in the surrounding area. The golf courses are located above 3,000 ft. altitude so you will be able to enjoy temperatures in the high 70's just make sure you have some spare golf balls with you because they tend to end up in the woods or ponds! Cool basement game room. Would be great for a guys weekend. Solid gas grill. Decent board games and eclectic book selection. Loved the viking spa. Great proximity to hikes like Gorges State Park, Panthertown Valley, Dry Falls, etc. Was content to sit on the breezy back deck with drinks for the better part of a June day.
