Normally I would have stayed longer except the weather was terrible and we had to leave early to go home. Would have canceled if the forecast let us know how bad it got. Or if the cancellation policy was better. Plan on coming back Seneca falls but will not be staying at this hotel. Situated between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes In New York States Finger Lakes wine region, close proximity to the towns of Waterloo and Geneva to the west and Ithaca and Watkins Glen about 40 mins to the South. Nice mix of restaurants and nearby conveniences, churches. Etc, 50 minutes from Rochester Airport. Quiet town with a pulse on the weekend. The Gould was the perfect location to stay for the “It’s a Wonderful Life” run. The staff could not have been more accommodating and the hotel manager was fabulous to work with. We ate there as well which was super convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the room very tasteful. Though the room was a little small it was very clean with a comfortable queen size bed and updated modern decor. There is interesting art around. There is a restaurant & bar downstairs, which is nice & convenient. It is located on the main street of this small town.
