We didn't spend a lot of time exploring during this trip,...
We didn't spend a lot of time exploring during this trip, but did find several nice parks along the waterway and lake. There were a few coffee shops and restaurants that looked good, and we were happy with the ones we tried. The town is small, but not too small, with a lot of the common stores and chains available. We got delicious coffees at Glas, right on the water, and enjoyed the view. We had supper at Stubborn Brothers brewery - food, prices, and service were all fantastic! We had breakfast at Shawano's Cafe - good quantity of food for the price. The wedding we attended was held at the lodge at Shawano County Park. The space worked great, and we really enjoyed the park area, beach, and outdoor fireplace.Guest review byT.B.irdUnited States

The hotel was clean and put together well. It was very quiet and was easy to navigate. The parking lot is large and easy to get in and out of, we came after a large snowfall, and it was plowed nicely.
