The PSU campus is absolutely gorgeous.
The PSU campus is absolutely gorgeous. The architecture is something to see. The brick work throughout campus makes it so classy and the sidewalks lead you everywhere! We used a GPS to wiggle out way throughout the campus. College Avenue is fun to walk, the shops, restaurants and bars are many. Don't forget the Creamery and Meyers Dairy! State College is a great college town with Penn State in the center. Out trips have been related to getting my freshman daughter to visit and move into the school. The town is clean, everyone seems friendly and there are good restaurant options. Hyatt Place is right across from MLK PLAZA and there is a lovely memorial there on the principles of non violence. There is also sculpture and a walkway marking historical timeline of the movement. It was filthy in areas. Rugs were disgustingly dirty. Bathroom was an electrical hazard. Breakfast was tasteless and stale. Same food daily. Pastries like hockey pucs and pancakes hard like discus thrown in cross country sports or olympics. Pool indoor super disappointing and cold. Hot tub was cold tub less then your body temperature. Door did not latch when closed and man opened stating wrong room. Very unsafe. I will never book a room there again or any Ramada any where.Guest review byMaryUnited States
