We are located about 90 miles south in Bethany, MO and our family loves to come here to shop, spend the day, and partake in different activities such as games, Ax Throwing, Bowling, ect. Beautiful facility. The lady working the evening of July 1 around 1015pm could not have been more helpful. Unfortunately booking.com represented the room with a sofa bed which isn’t what the element had in their booking. So while we tried to figure out our next steps in the lobby this lady was still working unbeknownst to us on our issue and got us finagled into a room that could accommodate us all. She was kind to begin with and went above trying to help us. That was the vibe of the whole place!Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0

Des Moines was great, the Motel 6 was terrible.
Des Moines was great, the Motel 6 was terrible. Worst motel stay EVER! From the minute we walked into the smell of damp cigerette smoke it just got worse. Our bathroom sink faucet was broke, the toilet seat had chips in it which looked like someone had puked on it.. Our bed sheets had a nasty stain on it, forcing us to lay on top of the bed, and notice I said lay, not sleep as sleep didn't happen. It was a misreable night which lead to a sleep deprived misreable day for us. Our stay at Motel 6 ruined our vacation and I won't forget this.Guest review byTodd - 10.0
I enjoyed staying in West Des Moines.
I enjoyed staying in West Des Moines. The hotel location is easy to find right off of the interstate. It allowed me to jump on the interstate and head to Des Moines to attend events at HyVee Hall and Wells Fargo Arena.
