Great place to stay for a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed cycling around the surrounding countryside (free bikes provided - some were a little old but worked fine), boat trip at Van Long (including seeing Delacour Langur monekys) and day trip to Mua Caves and Trang An. Hoang and his family were great hosts and always happy to help with trip arrangements, advice on the local area etc. Our daughter also did an art class at the property which was great.

The garden homestay was our favourite place in Vietnam so far. The room was big and clean, facing a beautiful garden. A small kitchen and a washing machine are available to use, which is very useful. It's located close to Van Long reserve which is why we booked it but the thing that really made us fall in love with the place was the hosts. The food they cooked was exquisite, with every meal being completely different, featuring a wide range of local dishes, for far less you would pay at a restaurant. We communicated using Google translate and we had conversations about the local food and nature. They thought us a lot and we had the honour to be guided by our host in a patch of the forest. This homestay was an unforgettable experience and we hope to come back one day.

As a culture lover, this is by far the most amazing and immersive experience I had in Vietnam. Many "homestays" that stayed at were not at all a homestay. But luckily I finally found this true Vietnamese home. They took me in like a family member. I learned how to make tofu(a must do there if you like tofu or curious)!! The house is beautiful and spacious, the hammocks on the rooftop overlooking the village, mountains, sunrise, sunset is just speechless. Also the food was 100% the best and most fresh I had in Vietnam. I truly had a wonderful time! Thanks to you all! I'll be back ❤️
