Awesome village, if you want busy and active then stay over the weekend. For a little more quieter time, then from late Monday to Friday morning is good. Beautiful scenery and relaxing weather. But, it's best to make sure you visit during the non-rainy seasons to avoid excessive fog and unexpected rainfall. We visited the moana cafe, glass bridge, ban mong alpine coaster and explored the city center. All these locations are a must visit to anyone visiting Sapa. This was our second trip to Sapa. The hoteldesapa is always busy, so you should book early. We planned ahead and reserved our room three months in advance, which gave us a complete and comfortable stay. Many travelers who arrive and try to book at the last minute often find no rooms available, which shows the hotel’s appeal and service quality. The rooms are clean and airy with beautiful views, making you feel relaxed from the moment you step in. The views of the rice fields and terraces in July are beautiful because they’re at its greatest! If you’re lucky enough to get sunny days during your stay you’ll be rewarded with fantastic pictures!!! The downside are the muddy trails (rainy season) so most probably you’ll not be able to cover the whole place. They’re alternative options, easy ones, specially if you visit with children. I highly recommend you to stay outside Sapa town as we did. You can visit Sapa town (a couple of hours will be enough) but for a much authentic experience stay in a village, they’re great ecolodge options around.Guest review byChristopherMalaysia - 8.0

Sa Pa is a beautiful and charming place made by its people, mixed culture, and unique terrain. Hiking to Fansipan is a must activity. Visiting local villages in the mountain valley is fun as well. The hotel is one of the more expensive ones in the area (though still very affordable). And it shows. It's better equipped, the rooms are very nice, and the rooftop restaurant served the best breakfast we had in Vietnam. Plus, there's an amazing view of the city. The staff allowed us to store our luggage before our check-in, and additionally showed great consideration by letting us have breakfast before the restaurant's opening hours due to our early departure. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, letting us shower in a room once we'd checked out, storing our valuables whilst we did an overnight hike in Sapa, giving us a free room upgrade, and helping us sort out taxis to the train station. Mia in particular made us feel right at home, and this was our favourite hotel we stayed at in Vietnam! Water and fruits were provided in the room . Very well priced. Beautiful large swimming pool which was heated and indoor . Big gym. Breakfast had good choice of Vietnamese foods but to improve I would suggest they also provide nuts, dried fruits and more healthy cereals. Lots of common outdoor areas to enjoy. Unfortunately we had heavy fog while there so didn't enjoy these or the views but we could see that there were no buildings in front to block them. Still enjoyed our stay. Cheapest stay in our 4 week Vietnam trip and definitely good value.
