The location was perfect for the concert at Chamada beach club and other clubs like coconongos and cage. The room was very big and clean. The hotel is new and luxurious. The buffet was good at breakfast and dinner. There is an Irish pub and a Gloria Jeans coffee shop built into the hotel if you feel like something different than the options of the hotel. The pool was big and had at least 30 sun loungers available. There is a spa with a hamam and gym downstairs.

Clean, comfortable, with a little kitchennette where you can microwave and refrigerate food. Room is comfortably sized with plenty of space for suitcase. Parking was also easy with the lot right across the street, even though Google maps confused some one way streets nearby. It’s a family business where the reception didn’t speak English but was eager to help through Google translate. Air con could get freezing, though it was a little confusing to use. The front door key didn’t work when I was leaving for the airport at around 6 am. Thankfully the back door was opened but I seriously considered climbing out the window with my big suitcase. It was a good travel story waiting to happen.

    The Whole Area has come up a lot over recent years.

    The Whole Area has come up a lot over recent years. Downtown is horrible, overbuilt, smelly and traffic jammed but the harbour and castle area are still pleasant. The real delight for us anyway is access to the coast and the mountains of Besparmak for walking /hiking and swimming / in water activity. and Lapithos / Lapta and Guzelyiali are ideal for this We had lunch on the mountain in Lapithos / Lapta village at MIMOSANTE Restaurant in an old traditional house, great views, great menu and attentive service. Good Prices by todays standard and YES! a private car park just beyond the building

    One of my favourite places to have a glass of beer and...

    One of my favourite places to have a glass of beer and people watch is Kerynia Harbour but for evening meals it has to be at Ezic Peanuts Restaurant lietrally five minutes walkaway from the hotel down a steep road but we use the car to go there and back, time 1 minute either way.

    A nice place to visit , loads of history and culture in the surrounding area, bellpais monastry, st hillarion castle, well worth hiring a car or taking a trip to karpas or to some of the fantastic beaches across the north e.g. alagadi. escape, golden sands. Nice harbour area and shopping in kyrenia, nice places to eat out and reasonable value.

    Only had one night there so could’ve spent a bit more time.

    Only had one night there so could’ve spent a bit more time. Traffic was mad. Not sure if this was compounded by the Easter weekend but it was a nightmare. Parking for the property was nearby and easy to deal with.

    I would recomment to go to Nicosia {Greek side of the island...

    I would recomment to go to Nicosia {Greek side of the island, from where you could take a bus to Limassol, Larnaka and Paphos}, Famagusta, Bellapais, Varosha {Ghost town}, and also visit Blue House in Tepebas. It is easy to get around Kyrenia, no need for expensive taxies, there are buses and dolmush that would take you anywhere for a reasonable price.

    Claire and Martin met us on arrival and explaining how the entire (enormous) villa operated: kitchen, water, wifi etc. So much room in this wonderfully restored former bakery, close to supermarkets, etc, The very well-stocked fridge included food and drinks that we enjoyed throughout our week. The hosts were always on call to help. Linen was fresh and clean. a very magical place from which to explore Cyprus (from the north)

    We loved the entrance on arrival and the staff EXCELLENT. Our room was lovely and clean with extra bedding and lovely clean towels and a fridge which is good for me as I am insulin diabetic.There was a car park beside the hotel which is good being central. There is a roof terrace giving you views over Kyrenia (Girni) often their is delightful music.

    Great place to stay for visiting Girne and the surrounding area. The room is in a quite place in the middle of nature with an astonishing view. Zaky is a great host: we enjoyed a lot speaking about Cyprus with him. There are also 2 amazing dogs and 2 cats! Lovely! Really helpful his informations to reach the place!

Right next to a mountain range and the city of Kyrenia - a good choice if you want to explore the nature and historical heritage of northern part of Cyprus island.
