The management team went out of their way to make our stay special even though we were the only ones there. The breakfast was exceptional, especially the coffee which is a brand accustom to the Afrikaans community. The morning tour was done very well and it was a humbling experience to see history preserved the way it is here. A must do on the Battlefield's journey.

Fantastic one night stop over on the way to the Zulu battlefields just down the road. Spacious clean room, great fresh cooked breakfast to order at the adjoining house and a good steak dinner at the Shed next door in the opposite direction. Friendly, helpful staff and a great night's sleep. Look out for the peacock strutting around like he owns the place!

Stevie was so accommodating and sweet. He made breakfast and went all out. Cozy cottage feel in the breakfast area. The rooms were clean with bright white sheets and towels. The garden is lovely and kept well. Aircon worked well. Bathroom was clean. Shower had high pressure and was warm.
