I liked the hot tub and relaxing and listening to the sounds of the wildlife such as the Jackels calling and the whooping of the hyenas. Also, just the general sounds. The room is tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and beautiful linen. Spacious inside, well equiped and beautifuk bathrooms. The outside kitchen is fantastic, more than enough cutlery to host your neighbours and friends. Proper cutlery and crockery is supplied. The Boma area is fantastic, with all you need, honestly the owners thought of everything. We lacked nothing. PS Wood and Ice was only a phone call and 3 minutes away, anytime of day. The shop is well stocked with everything that you could have forgotten about. Dinokeng Nature Reserve is beautiful and allows to easily spot the Big 5 and many other animals. Self-drive permits are available at reasonable prices. Really short drive from Johannesburg, so great to be able to visit the bush and see game without driving too far. We opted for self-drives and saw giraffe, impala, waterbuck, kudu, gemsbok, tsessebe, warthogs (right outside our camp), jackals, zebra and bird life.
